I wish trees could be in color all year long…just like these! Each tray is handmade from a slab of an almost black stoneware clay. Then it’s painted with underglazes and the design is carved with a looped wire tool. It’s finished with a lead free, clear glaze on the top and the naked clay is left on the bottom. They are all the same size but the hand painted and carved finish causes each to be slightly unique.
