Curious about wheel throwing but don’t have time to commit to a multi-session class? Don’t want to get lost in a sea of students in a giant studio class setting? This two-day wheel-intensive workshop in our cozy studio gives you enough time at the wheel to see if this is something you like! Day one will be spent learning the fundamentals of wheel throwing in an embodied approach to the craft. You will make 3-5 pots. Master potter, Jennifer Whilden, will teach you how to center yourself and the clay as you dive into this ancient craft! Day two will be spent trimming and trying your hand at some surface decorating techniques. This workshop is geared to beginners or people who have been away from the wheel for a while! Ages 16+. Clay, tools, and firing fees included in class fee! (minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 students)
